Award Winning! 'Effective Voice of the Year'
We are delighted to be able to announce that World Obesity Federation was presented with the 'Effective Voice of the Year' Award at the Association Awards in early May. Congratulations also to the other nominees and award-winners on the night.
'Effective Voice of the Year' is one of the annual Association Awards, organised by the Association of Association Executives. The award recognises the positive influence World Obesity Day 2016 had in advancing the issue of Childhood Obesity.
The success of 2016's campaign is down to the enthusiasm, commitment and drive of you, our supporters. We couldn't have attained this without the help of our valued champions and partners, so thank you! In particular our thanks go out to Obesity PPM for their help with the creation of this website, Jamie Oliver and our other Thunderclap supporters, and IMP/Nucleus Central for their design support to create the 2016 World obesity Day branding.

World Obesity Day 2016
World Obesity Day 2016 focused on tackling the rapid global rise of child and adolescent obesity, and calling on countries to take action against this damaging health issue which affects later health, educational attainment, and quality of life. More information on World Obesity Day 2017 will be announced soon
